Palex Medical would like to thank those who visited our stand at the 68th Congress for Hospital Pharmacy, which took place 6-7 October in Bilbao. We'd also like to thank the speakers and organisers of the SEFH for having allowed us a space to organise one of the Congress' most successful symposiums. Special thanks to those who had to stand when the seating capacity was easily exceeded.

With the moderation skills of Ana Rosa Rubio Salvador, a specialist in oncohaematology at Toledo Hospital, speakers from Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid gave their presentation: “Transformation and innovation in oncohaematological pharmacy: a practical journey.”

This was a clear, educational presentation on how modern hospital pharmacies are facing major challenges in offering the best and safest oncohaematological therapies in more efficient ways to users and how to tackle them using high-performance methods in processes.

Ana Alvarez Díaz and Marina Sanchez Cuervo, Head of Service and Area Manager, respectively, presented the re-design of their satellite pharmacy and the lean methodology that has enabled them to fully capitalise on both the space and its work flow.
