1. Reforestation to Capture CO2: Our team of Green Ambassadors led the planting of 30 trees, capable of absorbing more than 5,175 kg of CO2 per year. This tangible action helps mitigate climate change and enhance biodiversity.
2. Renewable Energy at Our Facilities: The photovoltaic panels installed at our central warehouses generate 120 kWp per hour, supplying up to 50% of daily energy consumption. This significantly reduces the environmental impact of our operations.
3. Reduction in Plastic Usage: We replaced plastic with recycled cardboard materials for pallet wrapping, achieving a 67% reduction in plastic use. Additionally, automatic-seal packaging optimises the use of both cardboard and plastic.
4. Sustainable Transport: We partner with environmentally certified transport providers, ensuring our logistics align with our sustainability values.
5. Training for Action: We educate our teams, including colleagues in Italy, on the SDGs, the 2030 Agenda, and ESG commitments, fostering an internal culture of environmental responsibility.
